For over 3 decades Clearshield Security has been a pioneer inventing and patenting the Stainless Steel Perforated Sheet concept for home and commercial building security. ClearShield has grown from inception in W.A. to a national manufacturer and distributer fabricating stainless steel Security Doors and Window Security Screens for homes and businesses.
Intensive R&D in the late 1990’s led to the Stainless Steel Perforated Sheet — a technologically advanced alternative to traditional woven mesh products. With vastly superior performance, the product offers superior barrier strength, durability and corrosion resistance, alongside an understated elegance. The perforated stainless steel design allows greater visibility and airflow than conventional screens while exceeding Australian safety standards, including impact ratings up to SL200, so doors and windows can stay open without compromising security.
By 2000, ClearShield had lodged Australian and International patents on its stainless steel technology and the stainless steel product range has since grown well beyond doors and window screens to include stainless steel pool safety fencing, emergency exit and fire-rated stainless steel screens, bushfire-resistant stainless steel screens, and commercial-grade stainless steel cyclone screens for high wind-load regions. All products are manufactured from high quality stainless steel at ClearShield’s WA facility and distributed nationally through 50+ showrooms and licensed distributors.
After being run by the Koutsoukos family for decades they completed the sale of ClearShield Security to Damon and Everett Fieldgate, Perth-raised brothers focused on preserving the company’s foundation while driving its next stage of growth. Staff, management, operations, and existing trade and customer relationships all continue unchanged under the new ownership.
