Brothers George and Jamie Koutsoukos pioneered a new era in the Home Security Industry when they invented and patented the Stainless Steel Perforated Sheet concept. ClearShield Australia grew from inception as W.A. Security Products in 1990. Back then the core business was fabricating Security Doors and Window Security Screens for homes and businesses in metropolitan Perth, Western Australia. The company has flourished over the years, fulfilling a market need for more aesthetically pleasing security products in Australia.
Intensive research and development began in the late 1990′s, and this led to a technologically advanced product in the form of the Stainless Steel Perforated Sheet. With vastly superior performance, this new concept suited Security market demands not only for barrier strength and durability but for its understated elegance.
By the year 2000, ClearShield Australia had lodged Australian and International patents, and this saw the company develop foreign markets in the Asia Pacific Region. ClearShield Stainless Steel Security Screens are now available in all states of Australia and some parts of South East Asia.
Importantly, George and Jamie play an active role in the business and continue to look for opportunities both in Australia and overseas to promote one of the most innovative, popular and stylish home security products on the market.
